Dr. Sebree, an American Descendant of Slavery (ADOS), is a program director and core faculty member in the MA program at the Michigan School of Psychology. He earned his doctorate in clinical psychology from the same institution in 2016. He has since focused on clinical work in Ann Arbor, particularly with the University of Michigan system's young adults and college students.

Dr. Sebree holds a MECCA Certificate in Multicultural Counseling from MSU and specializes in multicultural identity theory, ecopsychology, and climate psychology. He has actively collaborated with social justice organizations in Detroit, addressing food security and environmental justice issues.

His teaching, clinical practice, and mentorship reflect his commitment to community-oriented social justice. Dr. Sebree has held leadership roles in APA Divisions 32 (Society for Humanistic Psychology) and 34 (Society for Population, Environmental, and Conservation Psychology), focusing on justice, diversity, inclusion, and communications. Additionally, he serves on the Michigan Psychological Association Advocacy Task Force and the APA Climate Advisory Group, advocating for mental health and climate policy.
